Our 1:5 scale version of Bob Hoover's Aero Commander "Shrike" has a wingspan of 117.71", length of 87.85", wing area of 1707.84, a dry target weight of 18 lbs-11.44 oz., with a wing loading of 25 oz. per sq. ft., & it is powered by counter rotating Saito FA-91's. R.C. operation is 7 channel. Retracts are Robart. Pilot's & passenger compartments areas are left clear for optional detailing. Aft portion of fuselage & wing tips are removable for easy transport. Construction is balsa & plywood, sheathed in balsa. The plans, derived from factory drawings, have 4 sheets 36"x72".
