Last but not least is our newest design for a 1:5 scale Bell Aircraft P-63A "Kingcobra" , with a wingspan of 92", length of 78.4" wing area of 1428.48 sq. in., a dry target weight of 14 lbs.- 8.296 oz. , with a wing loading of 23.51 oz. per sq. ft., & is powered by an O.S. MAX .91 FX. RC operation is 6 channels. Retracts are Robart. Construction is conventional balsa & lite ply, sheeted in balsa. Plans include cockpit detailing. Wingtips are removable leaving a span of 35.6". Vacuum-formed cockpit enclosure & fiberglass cowling are available from a specialty supplier. The plans derived from factory drawings are 3-36"x72" & 1-36"x48" sheets.
